About The Position

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This role involves assisting customers, managing transactions, maintaining store stock and cleanliness, and ensuring a positive and respectful environment. The position also includes receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and other duties as assigned. This job description is not a contract of employment and may be modified to meet evolving business needs. Employment is at-will, meaning that either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
Strong organizational and communication skills are required
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations
Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
Other duties as assigned
