About The Position

The Customer Service Associate delivers a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, handling sales transactions, maintaining merchandise and store presentation, and helping keep the store safe, clean, and orderly. The role also includes receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, replenishing stock, and performing other duties as assigned. The position is part-time at Family Dollar, located at 102 W Enterprise Ave, Sayre, Oklahoma 73662.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds from floor to above shoulder height.
Ability to meet the physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in a retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions at an assigned cash register.
Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise, help unload trucks, and replenish stock according to productivity standards.
Promote a positive, safe, and respectful environment through professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping all areas neat and presentable.
Perform other duties as assigned.
