About The Position

Rocket Farms, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Customer Service and Shipping Representative to join their team. This multifaceted position supports both the customer service and shipping departments, handling responsibilities such as shipping coordination, daily order entries, customer communication, quality assurance, and order review. The role requires a passion for customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The company is a leader in the fresh-cut herb industry, focusing on environmental sustainability and collaborating with retail partners for national distribution.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and or previous on-the-job training required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in shipping, customer service, customer support, sales or administrative roles required.
  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Previous experience with using ERP systems and other sales tracking systems. Navision experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills. Ability to interpret data and convert it to reporting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other teams and departments.
  • Must work Saturday, will have Wednesday off instead.
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends if required.

Nice To Haves

  • Navision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, updates, returns and other changes as requested by key accounts and Customer Service Manager or Sales team.
  • Provide and coordinate timely and accurate incoming orders to ensure these are being processed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Sales and Production to exceed customer expectations.
  • Monitor and identify sales trends and other opportunities to provide additional feedback and information to key customers and accounts.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding order updates rejections, delays and other requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the shorts process by notifying Customer Service of item shortages to notify customers.
  • Create and maintain reports and provide analytics as needed to customer service team and other departments.
  • Offer administrative support to Customer Support Manager as required.
  • Monitor daily outbound and inbound transportation operations to ensure all shipment and receiving orders are on track.
  • Oversee paperwork, appointments, daily shipping and receiving confirmations, and shipment tracking.
  • Collaborate with departments such as customer service and sales to manage customer expectations and provide transportation support.
  • Supports the Sales team with samples as requested by key accounts and customers.
  • Oversees order processing accuracy for outbound/inbound shipments.
  • Handle shipping orders in EDI.
  • Upkeep of scanning BOL’s and POD’s.
  • Processing of Walmart ASNs.
  • FedEx shipping and tracking report.
  • Coordinate with drivers and production loading of multi-stop shipments.
  • Communicate with drivers and transportation providers to streamline scheduling with operations.
  • Communicate with drivers and provide updates to their routes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
