About The Position

Workout Anytime Somerset is looking for a high-energy, friendly team member to join our growing gym family. This position is much more than sitting behind a front desk. We are seeking someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and helping people take the first step toward achieving their fitness goals. This role combines membership sales, customer engagement, lead follow-up, and front desk responsibilities. For the right candidate, there may be future opportunities to grow into a hybrid role that includes personal training and fitness coaching. This position will begin approximately two months before our official grand opening as part of our pre-sales team. During the pre-sales period, responsibilities will include following up with prospective members, making outbound calls, texts, and emails to leads, assisting with charter membership enrollment, helping prospective members learn about our memberships and amenities, building excitement within the community leading up to opening day, and representing Workout Anytime at local events and promotional activities. Following our grand opening, the position will transition into a combination of member services, membership sales, and front desk operations.

  • Comfortable starting conversations and building relationships
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable making phone calls and following up with prospective members
  • Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed
  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment

Nice To Haves

  • Fitness industry experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and guests with a positive, professional attitude
  • Conduct gym tours and introduce prospective members to our facility
  • Follow up with leads by phone, text, and email
  • Build relationships with current and prospective members
  • Assist with membership sales and enrollment
  • Check members in and maintain a clean, organized front desk area
  • Answer questions about memberships, amenities, and services
  • Help create a welcoming, motivating atmosphere for all members
  • Support gym marketing and community outreach efforts
  • Assist with light cleaning and facility upkeep as needed
  • Follow up with prospective members who express interest in joining
  • Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to leads
  • Assist with charter membership enrollment
  • Help prospective members learn about our memberships and amenities
  • Build excitement within the community leading up to opening day
  • Represent Workout Anytime at local events and promotional activities when needed
