About The Position

Fox Rent A Car is seeking motivated team members for an Operations Customer Service Agent role. This position supports vehicle preparation, customer assistance, and fleet coordination to ensure efficient airport operations. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, solving problems, and interacting directly with customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and proven ability to safely operate various vehicle types.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and natural problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent people skills and patience with customers.
  • Physical ability to stay active, move around the facility, and handle hands-on vehicle preparation.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with vehicle selection and luggage.
  • Handle vehicle exchanges, swaps, or upgrades.
  • Ensure vehicles are prepared and positioned for departure.
  • Welcome returning customers and conduct thorough vehicle inspections, including checking for damage, recording mileage, verifying fuel levels, and securing keys.
  • Ensure customers safely remove all personal belongings.
  • Process paperwork, explain charges, and answer customer questions.
  • Verify rental agreements and finalize checkouts.
  • Obtain customer signatures and manage documentation.
  • Move vehicles within the facility and to off-site locations (overflow lots, dealerships, body shops).
  • Manage reservation lists to ensure proper vehicle availability.
  • Transport vehicles between return areas, prep areas, and ready lines.
  • Fuel vehicles and perform strategic parking.
  • Operate various vehicle types safely.
