About The Position

The Customer Service Agent’s primary responsibilities is to ensure customer needs are resolved favorably for the customer in a timely manner and that all associated computer and paperwork are tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Must have proven customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to take directions and be flexible.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must have general office skills.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and climbing up to 8 – 10 hours a day.
  • Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds.
  • For Anchorage, Nome, Kotzebue and Bethel Stations - Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging.

  • Prior applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for greeting and assisting customers with shipping, receiving or locating their freight either over-the-counter or on the telephone.
  • Responsible for processing Takeflite sales tasks and sales documents on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for computer database flight operations tasks and flight documents.
  • Responsible for ground service contracts customer service and paperwork.
  • Maintains office and customer service areas ensuring they are clean and neat.
  • Other duties as assigned.
