About The Position

Here at Kraft Heinz, our US Sales team aims to be an Indispensable Partner with a Growth and Winning Mindset, focused on Superior Execution. The Customer Sales Manager (CSM) for Costco will own and be responsible for selling and executing across various categories accounting for $45MM in revenue as a vital member of the team. You will serve as the liaison between Kraft Heinz and the Customer’s category management team, leading selling activities and driving efforts tied to improving gross margin and market share.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proven & tested experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company.
  • Own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position where you owned a desk of at least $10MM of business.
  • Manage and balance a large trade budget and embody a customer-first mentality to achieve objectives.
  • Work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize and set/achieve priorities.
  • Polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to negotiate and influence.
  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as IRI, Spark, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills are required; you must be able to use syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influence the customer to achieve category objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the customer and build rapport at all levels to fully understand their business and the marketplace, influencing positive business growth.
  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives such as Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, and Optimal Shelving.
  • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period & Selling Event.
  • Implement Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories.
  • Cross-functional collaboration to manage execution of assigned category objectives.
  • Maintain files and business documentation to detail business transactions.
