Responsibilities

Promptly assist customers at the counter and answer phones pleasantly and professionally.
Ask pertinent questions to accurately fill customer orders.
Provide customers with any needed information and correctly retrieve requested materials.
Look up information and enter data into the computer system.
Provide product and job quotes as appropriate.
Follow up on customer orders and resolve problems to customers' satisfaction.
Treat both customers and other employees with courtesy and respect.
Generate sales through excellent customer service, add-ons, and up-sells.
Safely load and unload trucks as needed.
Act as a back-up delivery driver as needed.
Continuously update knowledge about products and their location in the warehouse.
Check-in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality.
Maintain clear aisles and ensure the warehouse is properly organized.
