This position is a Seasonal (20 Weeks) Customer Representative Assistant I located at Two Lights State Park within the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands Division. The role involves meeting, greeting, and assisting park visitors by providing information about available services and facilities. Key duties include collecting, maintaining, and protecting change funds and income from entrance fees and other related services, strictly adhering to the Bureau’s cash handling policy, and recording public use and daily income. The assistant is also responsible for maintaining toll facilities to be neat and in good order, securing facilities, radios, and equipment as required. The position mandates attendance at all required training, knowledge of all communications procedures and emergency situations as covered in emergency operating procedures, adherence to all Bureau and State policies, and strict adherence to the Bureau’s uniform policy. Ensuring proper steps are taken in an an emergency situation by knowing the park emergency operating procedures is also crucial.
