About The Position

The Customer Relations Associate performs various Customer Service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information and direction to customers. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The associate will handle customer returns, sell hunting and fishing licenses, administer incentive and reward programs, and remain knowledgeable about products and advertised sales. They will also keep their work area clean and neat, follow all company policies and procedures, and provide a legendary experience for every customer by identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system

Responsibilities

• Secures all firearms brought into the store with trigger locks.
• Checks in all Vendor representatives, completing the necessary visitor log information and controlling the visitor badges.
• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Handles customer's merchandise returns; complete refund / exchange paperwork.
• Sorts returns by category and return to proper area.
• Sells appropriate Hunting and Fishing Licenses.
• Handles and administers all incentive and reward programs.
• Remains product knowledgeable.
• Remains aware of advertised sales.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Provides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations based off this analysis, promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
