About The Position

The Customer Relations Associate performs various Customer Service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information and direction to customers. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. The associate will greet customers, handle merchandise returns, sell hunting and fishing licenses, administer incentive programs, and remain knowledgeable about products and sales. They will also maintain a clean work area and follow company policies. A key part of the role is providing a legendary customer experience by identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
  • Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

  • Secures all firearms brought into the store with trigger locks.
  • Checks in all Vendor representatives, completing the necessary visitor log information and controlling the visitor badges.
  • Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
  • Handles customer's merchandise returns; complete refund / exchange paperwork.
  • Sorts returns by category and return to proper area.
  • Sells appropriate Hunting and Fishing Licenses.
  • Handles and administers all incentive and reward programs.
  • Remains product knowledgeable.
  • Remains aware of advertised sales.
  • Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
  • Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Provides a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers' needs, making product recommendations based off this analysis, promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
