Provides customer services and information to patients, guests, and staff in an accurate and service-oriented communication style. Answers telephone, takes messages, and routes phone calls. Requirements

  • No minimum experience required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated verbal/written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in administrative/secretarial, customer service, or business office
  • Experience in healthcare
  • Personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Windows-based applications
  • Experience with multiple phone line systems or switchboards

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones, takes messages, and routes calls.
  • Answers callers' questions and provides requested information.
  • Provides directions, pages requested individual(s), and distributes/collects appropriate paperwork and forms.
  • May perform other department-specific duties such as supporting volunteers, filing documents, filling in for other staff members, and other assignments as appropriate.
