Customer Quality Engineering team at Lumentum interfaces with top customers across the globe, acts as a voice of the customer for internal organizations and drives follow-up actions across Lumentum to exceed customer expectations on quality.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical/Optical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience with data analytics using various tools

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of problem resolution and quality improvement processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in using MS-Office, Tableau, Jira and JMP
  • Functional knowledge of Jira Platform, Data visualization skills, understanding JQL and the ability to configure gadgets is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of the Processes and Tools which are a key part of Customer Quality Management Process at Lumentum.
  • Implement necessary updates to the Customer Quality Dashboard in Jira used for tracking & reporting Critical Customer Quality Issues.
  • Automate the generation of Monthly Customer Quality Score Report for internal executive reporting.
  • Generate reports on compliance with the customer-impacting quality processes.
  • Identify improvements to tools, procedures and processes.
  • Make proposals to Lumentum Quality team
