About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector at EMR plays a vital role in ensuring safety, quality, and smooth operations. This role is active, engaging, and outdoors focused. You'll work in various weather conditions and occasionally near heavy machinery. Your work will involve using modern communication tools and fostering positive interactions with diverse individuals daily. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED-equivalent.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Basic computer proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Quality Assurance preferred but not required.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment to include evenings and weekends.
  • Customer service experience
  • A team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quality inspection of loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, trash, etc.
  • Performs quality checks to prevent hazardous materials, such as lithium batteries, propane tanks or gasoline tanks from entering stream for processing.
  • Determines deductions from loads if unwanted materials.
  • Directs all site traffic for all trucks in and out of the facility.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
