About The Position

The Quality Assurance Inspector at EMR ensures safety, quality, and smooth operations through inspection of incoming loads and direction of site traffic. This active, outdoor-focused role involves working in various weather conditions and occasionally near heavy machinery, while using modern communication tools and interacting positively with diverse individuals. The position includes on-the-job training and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.
• Team-oriented approach and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in Quality Assurance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect loads to ensure materials are free from debris such as concrete, dirt, and trash.
• Perform quality checks to prevent hazardous materials, including lithium batteries, propane tanks, and gasoline tanks, from entering the processing stream.
• Determine deductions from loads containing unwanted materials.
• Direct all truck traffic entering and leaving the facility.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
