About The Position

We are seeking a Customer Master Data Specialist to establish and maintain customer master data. This role is responsible for establishing address codes for direct and indirect customers, performing ongoing maintenance of established accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all customer information. The specialist will also investigate licensing and financial responsibility status, contact customers for updates, and ensure financial information is current. Additionally, the role involves providing first-line customer support, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, recommending procedural improvements, and acting as a team player. Key operational tasks include responding to daily email requests, creating payment terms, managing licensing, running SAP audit checks, and ensuring compliance with DEA regulations for scheduled drugs. The specialist will also assist with Master Data audits, create and maintain operational guides, document business process changes, and participate in cross-functional projects and meetings regarding Customer Master Data tools and SAP enhancements.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' Customer Service experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP order to cash system functionality preferred.
  • Audit support experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Phone system and Internet applications expertise (SalesForce.com preferred).
  • Analytical and organizational skills, along with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Verbal and written communication skills ability to speak and present customer master specific information to a wide audience, established understanding of internal and external applications.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a positive, outgoing, `Delight the Customer' attitude in all interactions.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing address codes for direct and indirect customers within the order to cash and reporting system per standard operating procedures.
  • Ongoing maintenance (changes and deletions) of established accounts within order to cash per standard operating procedures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all customer information.
  • Investigating licensing and financial responsibility status of parties listed on existing customer accounts.
  • Contacting customers to update registration information as needed for state, DEA, and veterinary licenses.
  • Ensuring financial information including but not limited to tax, tax exemption status, credit card and bank data is up to date and accurate on new and existing customer accounts.
  • Delivering first line customer support through phone, email & SalesForce.com, providing a personalized customer experience through easy, efficient, and enthusiastic interactions that allow our customers to accomplish their goals.
  • Managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, high-volume environment, with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.
  • Providing superior customer service and remaining solution-driven with all customers.
  • Recommending, investigating, designing, and implementing new procedural solutions to improve any operational areas of focus.
  • Demonstrating Zoetis leader behaviors and acting as a team player in support of all operational responsibilities.
  • Primary contact for operational tasks including but not limited to responding to daily email requests, creating payment terms, licensing, and running SAP audits checks.
  • Assuring schedule drugs order activities are in compliance with DEA regulations.
  • Releasing DEA and conditionally licensed state hold orders once all guidelines have been met and documented.
  • Assisting with all Master Data audits as needed.
  • Assisting in creating and maintaining Operational Guides & Documentation to initiate procedures for all ECC and GTS requirements.
  • Documenting and communicating business process changes to stakeholders and vendors.
  • Assisting in cross functional projects including integrations, acquisitions, and business transformation projects for both direct and indirect customers.
  • Participating in meetings with ZTD to review pending enhancements to the Customer Master Data tools.
  • Coordinating testing with ZTD for SAP enhancements, UAT for fixes, and data validation for mass uploads.
