About The Position

Customer Marketing Specialist (Opportunity Development) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Customer Marketing Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join Opportunity Development Team in Renton, Washington on 1st Shift . Position Responsibilities: Provide updates to Consulting companies on multiple subjects, such as program updates, market, economy, sustainability, aircraft performance, etc. Provide updates to Sales and Marketing Leadership on startups and consultants Host Consulting Conferences for Boeing Build trusting relationships with consultants so that they have an accurate view of Boeing airplane products and their attributes when they work with our airline customers; In order to help us get fair treatment by the consultants during sales campaigns and other consulting services at airline customers Requires travel and flexible hours Review Startup Business Plans and provide verbal and written feedback to the potential startup Answer questions from potential startups and consultants Act as a point of contact at the Boeing company to help them find the information or people that they need Develop proficiency in using Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce Manage special projects to execute organizational strategy and objectives Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of Boeing Marketing experience 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications Ability to give presentations to C Suite level customers on multiple subjects Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed (early meetings, travel) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree in either Finance, Engineering or Business Level 4 : 10+ years of relevant work experience Strong finance background or education Demonstrated initiative throughout work history Experience working with consultants and/or airlines Works with minimal direction Strong written and verbal communication Experience interacting with airlines and CEO level individuals Familiar with airline industry data sources Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Boeing Marketing experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications
