As a Customer Logistics Senior Specialist, you’re responsible for optimizing replenishment and maximizing instocks/OSA through the analysis of retailer forecasts, inventory and replenishment strategies, and Kimberly-Clark plans. This role interacts directly with the Walmart replenishment manager and internal K-C teams (sales, supply/demand planning and others) to enable best-in-class replenishment execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, Finance, or Customer Development with previous assignments in one of the following areas: forecasting, replenishing, planning, and advanced analytics
  • Candidate must be able to work independently with demonstrated proficiency in oral & written communication, analyzing, influence, collaboration, motivating, business intuition and results orientation
  • Prioritization and time management, cross-functional collaboration, change management, project and team management, active listening, adaptability and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated LEAN thinking & capability

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Kimberly-Clark’s supply chain interactions
  • Experience working with Walmart/Sam’s Club replenishment and Walmart systems (Retail Link, Scintilla)
  • Experience with accurate business forecasting, quantitative business analyses, and supply and demand
  • Experience in developing strong working relationship with customer

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans with Sales, Walmart (Replenishment Mgr, Buyer and Planner) and Sales Planning for a category(s) by SKU/week/national for 0-6 months
  • Lead and facilitate weekly Demand Review Meetings with Sales, Finance, Sales Planning and Walmart
  • Own and manage forecast and inventory policy recommendations in Walmart’s CPFR site
  • Lead the cross-functional coordination of promotional events and Walmart modular relays
  • Utilize Top-Down Forecasting, POS vs. Ship Analysis and consumer take-away in order to identify forecast bias and trends to improve accuracy at or above objective
  • Drive suggestions for improving the volume forecasting process and the performance of the demand forecasting tools and systems
  • Perform thorough analysis to provide potential volume opportunities via on going collaboration with Marketing, Planning, and Sales Planning team members during month Assumption Review Meetings
  • Develop forecasting subject matter expertise through experience with processes and systems (internal IBP/TPM forecasts, Walmart GRS and Supply Plan) that allow for efficient and effective forecasting
  • Maintain effectiveness of varying environments with different tasks, responsibilities and people.
  • Set priorities and strategically identify issues, underlying problems and potential solutions to develop plan of action
