About The Position

ECS is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist to work in our Houma, LA office.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Logistics
Specialist to join our team. As a mid-level professional, you will play a
crucial role in the office of Platform Infrastructure Acquisition Division
(PIAD), you will be working in support of NOAA new ship construction projects
currently being built and being planned. The candidate will support various new
ship design and construction programs and their transition into operations. 

The primary focus of this position will center on Integrated Logistics Support
(ILS), management, sparing/outfitting during shipyard periods, and other
logistic related issues/concerns during ship delivery, maintenance and lifecycle
management.  Some travel may be required, principally to shipyard locations, and
various NOAA locations. 

The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, capable of independently leading
managing projects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in remote
areas unsupervised. This role demands excellent communication and organizational
skills, as well as the ability to adapt to various challenges and
responsibilities.

Work closely PIAD lifecycle and logistics leadership and the project management
team(s).

Translates system logistic requirements into hardware and software requirements
and solutions. Performs logistical support analysis. Maintains product and
performance quality throughout the project life cycle. Performs and guides
logistics tasks, and reviews work products for accuracy and adherence to
applicable standards and requirements.

Proactively work with clients and stakeholders to identify emerging program
requirements, develop support plans/schedules and draft various acquisition
documents.  You will lead/monitor multi-disciplined project teams that may
include government, subcontractors, vendors and peers.

Multitask effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and projects
simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and
coordination between various project elements. 

Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring that project documentation and
records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: Eight (8) years of progressively more responsible experience in systems functional analysis and logistical support.
• Associates degree in a technical, management or applicable discipline.
• Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
