Logistics Planning

AbbVie•Chicago, IL
•$65,500 - $125,500

About The Position

The Customer Logistics Planner is the execution and control hub for outbound shipments in AbbVie’s Gaucho third-party manufacturing model. The role coordinates end-to-end order and shipment execution, from second-leg stock transport order creation through shipment departure, documentation archiving, exception resolution, and stakeholder communication. The planner helps protect supply continuity and customer service by maintaining accurate system transactions, compliant shipping documentation, timely shipment visibility, and early escalation of risks. Within the Shipment CoE, the planner owns shipment execution and visibility. Transportation retains ownership of carrier strategy, transportation procurement, and carrier management. The planner works with internal supply-chain and business partners, the third-party manufacturer, service providers, destination-market partners, and carriers as appropriate under the agreed Transportation interface and operating model. The position also supports performance reviews, KPI reporting, month-end activities, audit readiness, process controls, and continuous improvement as shipment volumes and regional complexity grow and operating models mature.
