About The Position

We are immediately hiring a 2nd shift Customer Logistics Manager in Brownstown, MI for our Supply Chain Solutions division. The CLM (Driver Manager) is responsible for overseeing daily driver operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of customer freight. This role serves as the primary point of contact for drivers, balancing operational performance with driver satisfaction while meeting customer logistics requirements. The 2nd shift Customer Logistics Manager (Transportation) will oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Mainly responsible for the leadership of salary and driver direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area. Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required.
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required.
  • Logistics industry knowledge advanced required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations. advanced required.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required.
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required.
  • DOT Regulated YES

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily driver operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of customer freight.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for drivers, balancing operational performance with driver satisfaction while meeting customer logistics requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), driver logs, and vehicle inspections.
  • Customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
  • Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling.
  • Health and Safety Management.
  • State/Local/Federal regulations compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
