Requirements

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
  • High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
  • Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
  • Makes decisions in a timely manner
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required
  • Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required
  • Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • CDL Class A
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Jockey Experience
  • Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis

Responsibilities

  • Customer service satisfaction and expectation management
  • Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
  • Health and Safety Management
  • State/Local/Federal regulations compliance
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • On-site support
  • Hours on-site will need to vary occasionally (e.g., 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
  • On-site support will occur at three locations: Primary: Big Box (693 North Hills Road), Secondary: YVO (1425 Eden Road), Tertiary: IC (275 Cross Farm Lane)
  • When not on-site, supervisor will need to provide on-call support: 1st shift shuttle runs from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday with additional weekend work frequently scheduled.
  • Will regularly conduct ride-alongs with drivers.
  • Will actively monitor and audit driver activity through Radius and GeoTab as well as trip sheets.
