Requirements
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required. advanced required
- High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
- Makes decisions in a timely manner
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Logistics industry knowledge advanced required
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations advanced required
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components intermediate required
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production advanced required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
- CDL Class A
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
- Jockey Experience
- Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis
Responsibilities
- Customer service satisfaction and expectation management
- Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling
- Health and Safety Management
- State/Local/Federal regulations compliance
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- On-site support
- Hours on-site will need to vary occasionally (e.g., 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
- On-site support will occur at three locations: Primary: Big Box (693 North Hills Road), Secondary: YVO (1425 Eden Road), Tertiary: IC (275 Cross Farm Lane)
- When not on-site, supervisor will need to provide on-call support: 1st shift shuttle runs from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday with additional weekend work frequently scheduled.
- Will regularly conduct ride-alongs with drivers.
- Will actively monitor and audit driver activity through Radius and GeoTab as well as trip sheets.
