Customer Experience Specialist
About The Position
At 3 Men Movers, a great customer experience goes beyond moving day. It means answering questions, following through, and helping customers when things don’t go as planned. We’re looking for a Customer Experience Specialist who enjoys solving problems, stays calm under pressure, and takes ownership of getting things resolved. You’ll work closely with customers, dispatch, drivers, and internal teams to keep communication clear and deliver a positive experience. Hospitality backgrounds are welcome! If you’ve worked in hotels, restaurants, or other guest service roles, we value your ability to handle busy days, work through concerns, and make people feel taken care of.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- The ability to stay calm, think clearly, and respond professionally during difficult conversations.
- A practical approach to problem-solving and the persistence to follow issues through to resolution.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with a team.
- Comfort using computer systems and learning CRM software.
- Availability to work weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build positive customer relationships by answering questions, addressing concerns, and following through on commitments.
- Work closely with dispatch and drivers to resolve issues and keep customers informed.
- Conduct post-move calls to gather feedback, address concerns, and strengthen customer loyalty.
- Help customers navigate the claims process, document details accurately, and coordinate follow-up with the appropriate team.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and involve internal teams when additional support is needed.
- Recognize opportunities to recommend additional services based on each customer’s needs.
- Use CRM software to maintain accurate customer records, scheduling details, and follow-up notes.
- Gather customer feedback and share opportunities to improve our services, processes, and tools.
- Monitor inventory and communicate concerns or needs to the appropriate team.
