About The Position

Provides direction and leadership for those functions within the organization that interface with external customers. Facilitates short and long range planning by effective staffing and resource allocation. Ensures that policies, procedures, and standards are in conformance with the organizations goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 10 years of customer service management experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience with ACD systems
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to resolve problems successfully; willingness to “go the extra mile” for the customer
  • Self-starting, dependable, accepts ownership, drives own goals/performance

Nice To Haves

  • College degree
  • Experience in lean manufacturing or distribution

Responsibilities

  • Leads the planning, organization and control of all customer service/sales functions including order entry, customer problem-solving, team cultural development and customer interactions at all levels
  • Manages the development, implementation and continuous improvement of effective productivity measurement systems and objectives for measurable aspects of customer service
  • Manages the development, implementation and continuous improvement of customer service training
