About The Position

The Customer Experience Coordinator promotes an excellent customer experience and oversees Associates at the front of the store to ensure prompt, courteous service and promote loyalty programs. The Coordinator leads by example through customer engagement, maintains a clean and organized store, and models outstanding customer service. The role also supports store operations, Associate development, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts.

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
Ability to multitask.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors as a team player.
Ability to train others.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote a culture of honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
Assign registers, respond to point-of-sale coverage needs, and coordinate breaks for Associates.
Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
Ensure Associates complete tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Communicate priorities and progress updates accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
