About The Position

As a Customer Experience Banker (Non NMLS), you serve as a financial concierge for walk-in customers. You retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balance daily, and provide exemplary customer service. The role is based in an office branch environment and offers a team setting where colleagues can share ideas that affect customers, the bank, and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of customer service experience, or military service in administration, contracting, civil affairs, or a similar role; alternatively, a bachelor's degree.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Huntington will not sponsor immigration benefits for this position.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
• Cash-handling skills.
• Comfort with technology, including mobile services and online banking services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively.
• Understand and educate customers on consumer deposit products.
• Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new-customer follow-up, outbound calling, and referrals from customers and partners.
• Educate customers and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently and balance daily.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
