This role also involves ensuring safety in the entrance and exit areas, assisting cashiers, and responding to intercom pages. The attendant is responsible for maintaining cleaning equipment, keeping the sales floor clear of hazards, and disposing of trash. They must notify management of needed repairs, maintenance, or unsafe conditions, and ensure smooth department and store function through cooperation and continuous improvement.
