The Customer Experience Associate is responsible for the functions below, such as greeting customers, answering questions, resolving concerns, operating scanning equipment and cash registers, performing check out procedures, maintaining accuracy during transactions, following security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures, adhering to guidelines for the sale of tobacco and alcohol, maintaining knowledge of weekly ads and promotions, and ensuring general sanitation in the department. They are also responsible for cooperating with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth function of the department and store, and for continuously improving job performance. Additionally, they are responsible for the utilization of all company-provided Personal Protected Equipment (PPE). This position may also be called upon to assist in other departments.
