As a Customer Engineer, Agent Builder , you will play a key role in deploying and scaling AI-powered agents for enterprise customers. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role that blends hands-on implementation with strategic collaboration. You will work directly with customers and internal product teams to design, build, and optimize AI agents that deliver real business value. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success , making it ideal for someone who enjoys both building technical solutions and working closely with customers. The ideal candidate is a technical professional who enjoys building solutions while working directly with customers in a fast-moving environment. Typical backgrounds include Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Technical Consulting, Implementation Engineering, or Technical Product roles within complex B2B SaaS companies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role within B2B SaaS.
  • Strong programming skills, particularly Python .
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, and technical platforms .
  • Experience delivering production-grade solutions for enterprise customers .
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments .
  • Experience translating customer requirements into technical implementations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, or conversational AI systems .
  • Experience designing automation workflows or intelligent systems .
  • Familiarity with enterprise SaaS integrations (CRM systems, ticketing systems, or internal data platforms).
  • A background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field .
  • Strong product instincts and experience contributing feedback that influences product development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end technical execution of AI agent deployments for enterprise customers—from scoping through launch and iteration.
  • Build and configure agent workflows, automations, and integrations using the platform.
  • Develop and maintain technical artifacts that define agent behavior, workflows, and guardrails.
  • Work closely with customer technical stakeholders to define requirements, success criteria, and implementation plans .
  • Build and validate integrations with external systems such as CRMs, ticketing platforms, or internal tools .
  • Configure testing and validation processes to ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality agent performance .
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to provide feedback that improves the platform .
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and iterate on deployments to optimize outcomes for customers.
