We are building the future of livestock technology and seeking a bilingual (French & English) Customer Engagement Representative to drive the growth of eShepherd across Canada. This is a relationship-focused role where you will introduce eShepherd's virtual fencing technology to livestock producers, ranchers, and industry stakeholders, demonstrating its value. You will identify and qualify opportunities, deliver product demonstrations, support customers, and collaborate with Business Development Managers to grow market adoption in both English and French-speaking regions. Requirements

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Experience in sales, customer engagement, business development, account management, or a related customer-facing role
  • Agricultural, livestock, AgTech, or rural industry experience, or a genuine passion for the sector
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage customer interactions and sales activity
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with colleagues across multiple regions

Responsibilities

  • Traveling to events to represent eShepherd – including presenting, speaking and joining panel discussions
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with livestock producers, ranchers, and industry stakeholders across Canada, engaging confidently with both English and French-speaking customers.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities while delivering product demonstrations and communicating the value of eShepherd's virtual fencing technology.
  • Supporting customers throughout their journey, from initial engagement through onboarding, while maintaining accurate pipeline activity and customer records in CRM systems.
  • Partnering with Business Development Managers and cross-functional teams to drive customer success, business growth, and a seamless customer experience.
  • Representing eShepherd in the market and staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging AgTech developments to identify new opportunities.
