About The Position

The Customer Drawing Mechanical Engineer calculates and documents engineering forces and moments, mass, and Center of Gravity (CoG) from turbine-generator to customer interfaces, such as piping and foundation. The role also updates standard work procedures and identifies and implements continuous-improvement opportunities through collaboration with varied stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 0 to 3+ years of experience in basic mechanical design principles, including forces and moments and Free Body Diagrams.
• Knowledge of structural foundation and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and document engineering forces and moments, mass, and Center of Gravity (CoG) from turbine-generator to customer interfaces such as piping and foundation.
• Update standard work procedures.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through cross-collaboration with various stakeholders.
