About The Position

Kenvue is seeking a Customer Development Manager to develop strategies and execute tactics that align with customer initiatives to deliver shipment forecast, consumption, and share goals. This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners to devise mutually profitable business plans, developing and maintaining customer relationships to drive growth, and managing new item execution with speed to market targets. The manager will also oversee trade funds within budget, analyze promotional spending for ROI, and participate in special projects.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Implement 4P's (product, placement, promotion and pricing) business tactics that align with brand strategies and meet customer needs
  • Act as point person for the team to build out multiple brand displays (towers, pallet programs)
  • Manage trade budget for assigned area including Lynx, returns, displays and other promotional efforts
  • Achieve forecast accuracy by working with CPFR partners
  • Troubleshoot orders, provide status to customers, and seek to resolve all logistical issues and challenges
  • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, brand and sales strategy trade customization to align efforts and tactics with customer(s)
  • Act in the role of primary point of contact for a category or categories with the customer and meet frequently with buyers to discuss tactical matters such as progress to goals, promotional initiatives, issues and competitive threats
  • Work in the Albertsons Innovation Center from time to time, helping our National Category Directors to build “best in class” plan-o-grams, working closely with our Category Insight Managers and Category Analysts
  • Execute new product launches and provide promotional materials appropriate for assigned customer(s)
  • Conduct analysis to assess effectiveness of promotional activities and strategies
  • Monitor key metrics to measure progress to goals
  • Utilize syndicated and customer data to incorporate into sales plans
  • Create and deliver customer-and product group-specific sales presentations to gain support for recommendations
  • Participate in regular meetings with additional key customer decision-makers
  • Support planning and execution of retail labor for teams by working with Perfect Store manager and broker teams
  • Develop monthly playbooks and work with sales broker team to execute HQ promotions/plans down at the Divisional level; work directly with Albertsons divisions to build regional and ensure execution on national programs
  • Serve as team subject matter expert on eCommerce activations across all Albertsons banners (Last Mile Delivery, digital shelf)
