About The Position

The Customer Data Coordinator must be skilled in performing all of the duties of a Customer Service Representative and will provide exemplary customer service to customers. This role provides back-up to the Customer Service Representative role to cover the office during busy times or PTO on an as needed basis. This role is responsible for ensuring customer data is entered accurately and in a timely manner, along with ensuring customer contact data is current. Duties include uploading, proving and posting handheld batches on a daily basis. Performing new customer account set-up and file maintenance. This role includes monthly reporting, as well as office administration responsibilities and assisting with special projects as assigned. This role requires daily onsite presence in a local office.

  • High school diploma / GED is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an office environment preferred.
  • Customer service or inside sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both residential and commercial through both phone and personal contact.
  • Provide customer service to walk-in customers, in order to do this, the CDC must be knowledgeable of product and service offerings and able to explain such offerings to customers.
  • Actively upsell or cross-sell when appropriate
  • Order taking, transaction processing, and resolving or escalating customer inquiries and/or complaints as needed.
  • Determine if service requests are within the scope of work performed.
  • Upload, prove and post handheld batches prior to 10:00am on a daily basis.
  • Enter and prove sales/receipt batches, as well as process payments and maintain customer accounts.
  • Accurate and timely timecard entry, including processing and confirmation of hours worked for local team members upon request.
  • Run and complete paperwork on a daily basis, coordinate month-end reporting for assigned locations and assist with year-end reporting on an as-needed basis.
  • Coordinate and perform residential collections and handle billing inquiries while keeping residential A/R within targeted metrics.
