At Girl Scouts of Utah, you’ll help girls and volunteers find their place, build confidence, and create lifelong connections. As a Customer Care Specialist (Placement), you’re not just answering questions—you’re helping people belong. You’ll be the go-to person who turns interest into action and helps grow our community: Connect & Convert Guide future Girl Scouts and volunteers from “I’m interested” to “I’m in!” Follow up on leads and help families find the right fit Share the value of Girl Scouts in a way that feels real and exciting Match People to Purpose Place girls into the right troops and experiences Help adults find meaningful volunteer roles Support new volunteers through onboarding (yes, including background checks) Keep It Organized (Without the Chaos) Manage member data and placements in Salesforce and other systems Process registrations, transfers, cancellations, and updates Spot trends and help identify communities that need more support Be a Customer Experience Pro Answer questions across phone, email, chat, and in-person Deliver fast, friendly, and real support Help solve problems—80% at first contact This isn’t just a support role—it’s a community-building role. You’ll help girls find their people, volunteers find their purpose, and families find something bigger than themselves.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service or admin experience
  • Comfort with tech (CRMs like Salesforce = a plus)
  • Strong communication skills (you keep it clear, kind, and human)
  • A passion for community, equity, and making an impact
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation, current Utah driver’s license, and automobile insurance.
  • Speak clearly to ensure listeners understand and comprehend the speech of others.
  • Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
  • See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
  • See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
  • Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Demonstrate the good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, mobile devices, calculators, copiers, scanners).
