About The Position

#You is a platform for building and scaling direct-to-consumer brands. The project is backed by a strong team with many years of experience in building lifestyle brands. Under the #You umbrella, we are building the next generation of social media brands using influencer marketing and strong, brand-based communities. Our current brand portfolio includes the home fragrance brand Ava&May, the perfume brand FAYNT, and the brand CLUB NOÉ, developed together with influencers. At Ava&May, our goal is to bring the world into your home with unique fragrances and create special moments. We are a fast-growing Home & Living brand that has already established itself successfully internationally. As a Customer Care Specialist (Working Student / Freelancer), you will be the first point of contact for our German-speaking customers, support them with questions about our products, and ensure an outstanding customer experience with your friendly and solution-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • Fluent German and basic English skills (English is our company language).
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a positive attitude – you love interacting with people and are the connection to our customers from day one.
  • A lot of understanding and patience, even in stressful situations – you want to truly convince every customer and enjoy finding suitable solutions.
  • Hands-on mentality, structured way of working, and an eye for detail.
  • Interest in the Home & Living sector, ideally also an affinity for social media.
  • Availability: As a freelancer, working student, or temporary employee, you should ideally be able to contribute 20 hours per week, in the period from October 15th or November 1st to December 31st, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for our German-speaking community – whether for product advice, complaints, or simply a question.
  • Create a smile on our customers' faces with quick and charming answers via chat, email, and social media.
  • Bring fresh ideas to our internal processes and help to continuously optimize them.
  • Work with our shipping partners to quickly resolve logistics hurdles.
