About The Position

Prescryptive is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our Customer Care team on a contract assignment. In this role, you’ll help redefine what “customer service” means in healthcare. Our Customer Care Representatives are the voice of our customers—advocating for their needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to the development of tools and processes that scale with our growing organization. This is a contract opportunity for individuals with a builder’s mindset who enjoy solving problems, creating structure in ambiguity, and improving operational processes. To support our 24/7 member experience, candidates must be able to work shifts between Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. PT and/or Saturday–Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT, as well as occasional holidays. This role is open to independent contractors residing in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. At this time, we are not able to engage contractors residing outside of these states.

Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service or healthcare operations role (PBM, health plan, or pharmacy setting a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using Salesforce or similar case management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable work setup with computer, external monitor, keyboard, mouse, and private workspace suitable for confidential calls.

Nice To Haves

  • Active pharmacy technician license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of Prescryptive’s customers and their needs.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic customer service via phone, email, and case systems (Salesforce).
  • Contribute to Prescryptive's success in serving members and plans by identifying issues, escalating trends, and contributing improvement ideas.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to share feedback that enhances the customer experience.
  • Assist with customer communications during product updates or launches.
  • Acquire detailed knowledge of Prescryptive’s products, workflows, and support tools.
  • Help refine and document internal customer care processes.
