About The Position

Bern's Steak House's customer care team strives to ensure that patrons have a memorable evening by helping to curate every detail of their dining experience. This involves providing caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic service over the phone, and communicating guest needs to the appropriate departments. The position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a very fast-paced call center environment.

Requirements

  • Must work efficiently both independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task
  • Must possess excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights, weekends, holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred
  • Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handle high volume of in bound and outbound calls in an expedient and professional manner
  • Input accurate reservations and special requests into OpenTable and digital reservation system
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding history, policies, procedures, site navigation, operations
  • Communicate messages and special request to management in a precise and clear way
  • Help to resolve customer dissatisfaction and technical problems
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall operations and enhance the guest experience.
  • Provide administrative, general office and clerical services as requested
