About The Position

Owns global project control activity and drives consistent functional specifications and common global processes for project implementation. The role supports activities intended to understand and meet customer expectations, and is responsible for planning and execution within departmental operations. It has some autonomy but focuses on execution under standard functional practices and procedures, with judgment exercised as needed and typically with guidance. Provides technical expertise and develops technical solutions—including configuration, performance estimation, and economics—as part of the pre-ITO requisition process while interfacing with the commercial team. Uses knowledge of relevant markets and customer economic value to support bid strategies. ITO work includes technical analysis of client needs; defining and optimizing products, scope, schedule, industrial scheme, and cost in accordance with contract and internal policies; calculating plant, system, and equipment performance and efficiency; and documenting technical specifications and costing elements for later contract execution. The role also includes OTR work, customizing products and implementing them for specific customer needs. Develops in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and applies prior experience and technical expertise to execute policy and strategy. Understands key business drivers and how the team’s work integrates with other teams. Uses judgment to propose solutions beyond set parameters with guidance, drawing on prior experience, training, technical skills, and analytical thinking. The role is likely an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who may hire and develop talent, and provides informal guidance to new team members.
