About The Position

In this role, the Customer and Financial Success Manager plays a critical role in managing and nurturing the overall relationship with Community Connect partners. They act as a trusted advisor, ensuring partner needs are understood. By strengthening relationships and facilitating clear communication, they help foster collaboration and mutual success. Serving as a key liaison, they ensure seamless coordination between the partners and UChicago Medicine to drive long-term value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or other healthcare related field required; other bachelor's degrees may be substituted at the Director’s discretion based on related work experience
  • 2 years of hands-on Epic experience
  • Exhibits a high degree of customer service, cooperation, teamwork, initiative, and exceptional judgement
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve time-based objectives, balance multiple priorities, and communicate effectively while remaining organized
  • Ability to avoid reactive decisions and actions
  • Utilizes critical thinking and input from others to formulate opinions and decisions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Works with people on all levels of the organization including, administrators, senior executives, directors, leaders, and staff to communicate the strategy, monitor and communicate progress on tactical issues, and work closely with Leader to resolve/improve day-to-day processes and service delivery
  • Represents the Department in work groups and committees as requested
  • Escalates project issues as appropriate to project sponsors and leadership
  • Understands, communicates, and follows overall strategy
  • Ability to create and foster strong relationships within UChicago Medicine and with Community Connect partners
  • Possess a strong sense of inquiry, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Manages execution and focuses on the customer, results, outcomes, and performance
  • Manages conflicts, settles disputes equitably, and can operate across boundaries

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring the overall revenue cycle performance at Community Connect sites
  • Responsible for ensuring UChicago Medicine is delivering on support commitments and break down barriers
  • Developing and optimizing relationships with Community Connect partners, serving as their main point of contact
  • Meeting with Community Connect partners monthly
  • Help align Community Connect partner strategic roadmaps and business goals with Epic functionality
