As a Customer Advisor at Hobbycraft, you will support the Store Management Team to deliver all aspects of the store operation, initiatives, and performance. Delivering an inviting, inspirational, and truly customer-focused experience is key to our continued success. You will demonstrate our brand values in every aspect of your work. Requirements
- Retail (or similar) experience is desirable.
- A confident communicator who can deliver outstanding customer service.
- A passion for craft.
- Selling skills are advantageous.
- Stock replenishment skills.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfortable operating within guidelines and policies.
- Able to work at pace and with accuracy.
- High standards.
- Adaptability.
- Brand ambassador.
- Self-motivated.
- Being able to work confidently on your own or as part of a team.
- Able to demonstrate a craft to a high standard is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador, being passionate about the Hobbycraft brand and embracing change positively and proactively.
- Build great working relationships with the team, treating individuals fairly and with respect, adhering to the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging policy.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, putting the customer at the heart of everything, with excellent communication skills to interact with customers and share passion and knowledge of craft.
- Recognize change and approach it in a positive, proactive way.
- Comply with all Company policies and Health and Safety Regulations.
- Deliver excellent shop floor standards, ensuring displays are clean, full, and tidy, and assist in changing displays of stock.
- Operate the till and accurately handle cash, credit/debit cards, and gift cards transactions.
- Assist with the Click and Collect process.
- Be vigilant to help minimize stock loss and ensure tagging processes are followed.
- Potentially host various workshops.
