About The Position

The Custom Quality Analyst III is responsible for evaluating products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO13485 requirements. This evaluation involves performing in-process and final QC testing to determine the pass/fail status of products using a wide variety of molecular biology methods and specialized equipment. This position reports to the Manager of Custom QC and is part of the Custom Quality Control department located in Coralville, IA and will be an on-site role. Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday, 7:00am-5:30pm In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Train peers to perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications, including data entry and peer review for accuracy. Perform maintenance and calibration on a variety of specialized equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an Associate’s degree with 2 years of IDT experience.
  • 3 years applicable lab experience.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lb
