About The Position

New Energy Works is seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team in Farmington, NY. The role involves designing, fabricating, and installing high-performance panelized wall, roof, and floor systems for custom homes and commercial buildings throughout the Northeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, take pride in their work, show initiative, and be committed to continuous improvement.

Requirements

2+ years of carpentry or construction experience.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in craftsmanship.
Solid math, layout, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable using standard carpentry tools and equipment.
Valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Craft high-performance wall, roof, and floor panels in our Farmington NY factory.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and semi-automated production equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret fabrication and installation drawings.
Participate in field installation of the panels you helped fabricate.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and fellow craftspeople to solve problems and deliver exceptional work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
