About The Position

Cirris is a global leader in cable and wire harness testing solutions. We design innovative test equipment that helps manufacturers ensure quality, reliability, and performance in critical electrical systems. Our team is dedicated to precision, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional products to customers worldwide. The Cable and Adapter Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting cable assemblies and adapters used in a variety of electrical and electronic applications. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Basic computer skills (ERP experience a plus)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of cable, wire harness, or similar assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts and tools
  • Ability to visually distinguish wire colors and inspect assemblies
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions and reach, bend, or position as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cable types such as coax, twinax, and ribbon preferred
  • IPC or J-STD-001 certification is a plus
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Assemble cable harnesses and adapters using hand tools and semi-automated equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wire diagrams
  • Perform wire stripping, crimping, soldering, and connector installation
  • Conduct continuity and resistance testing using meters and test fixtures
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with IPC standards
  • Maintain accurate production records and report defects or issues
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
