About The Position

Join Custom Wood Products as a Craftsman/Custom Cabinet Maker. In this role, you will assist in the creation of custom wood cabinets following shop drawings in various stages of the project. Each cabinet is custom, ensuring there is never a dull moment. Attention to detail, cabinet construction knowledge, professionalism, and quick thinking are essential. Requirements

• Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize/read tape measure.
• Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with woodworking/construction projects preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing environment helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including but not limited to table saws, drivers, drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-fastening equipment.
• Ensure products are assembled correctly for safety and purposeful use.
• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Read and use tape measure.
• Identify multiple species of wood.
• Operate shop computers and software.
• Move cabinets to next phase of construction.
