About The Position
We are a custom cabinet shop seeking a skilled and detail oriented Custom Cabinet and Millwork Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for installing custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, countertop installation and related woodwork in residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong background in custom cabinetry installation, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works well independently, and maintains a professional appearance and attitude on job sites. Also has the ability to lead or assist with full project installations from start to finish, has excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make jobsite adjustments with precision. Other shops offer only manufacturing capabilities, or offer design services but then buy their cabinets from a supplier. At Vorst Custom Cabinets, we offer complete design and consultation services, and then we build what we design in our own facility. After it's built, we offer complete installation services.

Responsibilities
- Installing custom cabinetry, millwork, and setting and securing countertops in a variety of countertop materials
- Ensuring proper alignment and fit
- Reading and interpreting shop drawings and field measurements
- Ensuring finished installations meet company standards
