Gold-Eagle Cooperative in Woden, IA has an incredible entry-level opportunity for a hard worker who's interested in the agriculture industry! We're hiring a full-time Custom Applicator - Agronomy Laborer to operate equipment and complete quality work in the farm fields. This is a great chance to learn new skills and gain valuable hands-on experience within an essential industry! Requirements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination with the ability to operate equipment
- Ability to follow labels when blending fertilizer and crop protection products
- Ability to read maps, follow directions, and maneuver equipment with computer-assisted operations
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and completing routine machinery maintenance
- Eagerness to learn more and grow within the trade
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
Nice To Haves
- A custom applicator's license or CDL would be recommended.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately operate application equipment and other agronomy machinery.
- Calibrate machines before each season.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance to keep all tools running well.
- Work with your team to perform general labor.
- Blend fertilizer and crop protection products.
- Operate equipment and complete quality work in the farm fields.
