Custody Specialist I (CS I), Private Banking, Atlanta, GA - Responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration and handling of custody relationships, requiring knowledge of securities and custody administration. Works with custody team members to address or escalate client issues/inquiries or other related custody functions. Responsible for coordination with external partners (investment managers, brokers)Res and internal support partners (Securities Operations, Tax Compliance, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient custody administration. May act as a subject matter expert to teammates, depending on level of expertise and experience. Job Description - Responsible for supporting the client servicing administration and handling of custody relationships, requiring knowledge of securities and custody administration. This includes processing transactions such as payment of client bills and invoices, wires/internal cash transfers, deliveries (gifts)/receives of securities or any other client request in a timely and accurate basis. Review overdraft, pending securities transactions, and corporate action reports on a daily basis. Perform administrative analysis of new and existing accounts for Administrative Reviews. Collaborate with custody team members to open/close accounts, set up ticklers, remittance events and other account maintenance requirements. Address or escalate client issues/inquiries or other related custody functions in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform information analysis and address related projects as needed. Responsible for coordination with external partners (investment managers, brokers, attorneys, accountants) and internal support partners (Client Relationship/Sales Teams, Securities Operations, Tax Compliance, etc.) to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient custody administration. Participate in change including staying abreast of policies/procedures and related technology initiatives.
