About The Position

The Global Reconciliation team plays a critical role in supporting international custody operations by reconciling foreign market transaction records between global sub-custodians and U.S. Bank systems. Working in a highly collaborative environment, the team partners with multiple operational groups to ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support the timely processing of global custody activities. As a Custody Operations Analyst I, you are responsible for the management and oversight of Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, & Institutional Banking (WCIB) client accounts and products of various types and sizes established by clients for various purposes. You will support daily reconciliation processes for global custody transactions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and collaborating across teams to investigate and resolve operational exceptions. You'll gain exposure to international markets, custody operations, and a variety of operational platforms and processes.

Requirements

  • Two years or more of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily reconciliation activities using reconciliation platforms and operational systems.
  • Research and resolve reconciliation exceptions and discrepancies.
  • Complete matching processes and investigate outstanding items.
  • Meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and daily production deadlines.
  • Follow defined operational procedures and team schedules.
  • Communicate with internal business partners to resolve reconciliation-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with teams across settlements, foreign exchange, global income, cash movement, and other custody functions.
  • Support process improvements and adapt to changes in systems, platforms, and operational procedures.
