About The Position
Join the crew that makes 'after school' the best time of day! As a General Cleaner (also known as a Custodian), you’ll be the heartbeat of the school after the final bell rings. You will ensure students return to a safe, healthy environment by performing standard Janitor duties like sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. We value a General Cleaner who takes pride in their work and enjoys making a space shine.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have a great attitude
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively
- 1 year of experience
- A reliable, "can-do" spirit
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Custodian or Janitor is a plus
Responsibilities
- Stripping and waxing of floors
- Buffing floors
- Using various types of floor care equipment
- Performing standard Janitor duties like sweeping, mopping, removing trash, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
- Any cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor
