About The Position

The Custodian performs general cleaning and maintenance duties to help keep assigned facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role works under the supervision of the Project Manager and on-site Supervisor, with secondary supervision from the Contracts Administrator. This position is part of the AbilityOne Program, a federal initiative that provides employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities; eligibility requirements may apply under program guidelines.

The set pay rate is $18.24. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, common areas, restrooms, and public spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces.
• Empty trash and replenish restroom supplies.
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors, walls, elevators, and other building surfaces.
• Spot clean carpets and perform floor care as needed.
• Assist with furniture setup and breakdown for special events.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways when required.
• Safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Follow all safety policies and contract requirements.
